How Many Colors Should I Choose?
24 Colors — Great for Beginners
The perfect entry point into paint by numbers — larger, easier-to-fill sections that let you focus on enjoying the process. Still captures the tropical charm of the scene with a relaxed, approachable palette.
36 Colors — The Sweet Spot
Perfect for capturing the vibrant beach scene — the turquoise ocean, the vivid red of Santa's suit and gifts, the golden sand, and the rich tropical colors. Beautiful results without overwhelming complexity.
48 Colors — For Maximum Detail
Best for painters who want to capture every nuance — the shimmer on the water, the gradient of the cocktail, the detailed gift wrapping, and the subtle shadows in the sand. More colors means finer cells and the most true-to-photo result.
